The Acue Storm PIX 450 the newest static strobe/effect fixture in our Storm line of a new generation of strobe lights. The Storm Pix 450 is a totally different iteration than our previous models like the Storm 3000IP and the Storm 1500, as this fixture is designed with pixel mapped “eye candy” in mind vs a powerful multi-color punchy light output. This being said, the 96 x4W cool white LEDs still provide a powerful punch.
Our new series of LED strobes have the ability to be more than just a strobe. The fixture is also powered by 120 pieces of 0.5W RGB “eye candy” LEDs which are technically hidden as they reflect on to the custom designed reflective surface. The design and layout of the RGB LED’s allows for amazing pixel mapping effects when used in multiples in full channel mode and can even be triggered in the lower channel modes using built in macro options. The unit has built in DMX controls as well as on board controls through the display. Both controls allow you to choose a specific color, effect, flash speed, timing, and brightness of the LEDs.
