Description
The Razor Bar is a type of lighting fixture commonly used for clubs, stage lighting, concerts, and other live events. It is designed to produce beams of color, making it ideal for creating sharp curtains of light. The Razor Bar uses 3˚ beam angle lenses to produce sharp beams individually when used in pixel mode or a sharp curtain of light in full mode.
The fixture consists of 40 individual LEDs arranged in a linear bar pattern. Each LED is capable of producing red, green, and blue (RGB) light, which can be combined to create a wide range of colors. The fixture can be mounted on a lighting rig or truss system and can be controlled using DMX512 protocol or other lighting control systems.
One of the advantages of the Razor Bar is it’s high-brightness and color mixing capabilities. The 3-watt LEDs used in the fixture produce a bright, intense light that can be seen even in large venues. The RGB color mixing capabilities allow lighting designers to create a wide range of colors, from subtle pastels to bright, bold hues.
Another advantage of the Razor Bar is its energy efficiency and long lamp-life. LED lights consume less power than traditional incandescent or discharge lamps, and can last for tens of thousands of hours before needing to be replaced.
Overall, the Razor Bar is a versatile lighting fixture that can be used in a wide range of stage and performance settings to create vibrant, dynamic lighting effects.
